Traffic was funneled down to one lane Friday on northbound Interstate 494 near Maple Grove as crews worked to clear a multiple vehicle accident near the Bass Lake Road (exit 26) ramp. The <a href="http://www.511mn.org/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Minnesota Department of Transportation</a> alerted motorists of the accident around 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2.  As of 3 p.m., the transportation agency reported the crash had been cleared. Minnesota State Patrol Public Information Officer Lieutenant Eric Roeske indicated an ambulance was called to the scene of the accident, but no serious injuries were being reported.
