Kindergarteners Visit West Lutheran High School
Seventy-seven kindergartners spent a morning with the "big kids" at West Lutheran High School.
was proud to welcome 77 kindergartners to the 2012 West Lutheran Kindergarten Visit on March 9.
These future Warriors represented the kindergarten classes from area Lutheran grade schools including Cross of Christ, Holy Trinity, King of Grace, Mt. Olive, Pilgrim and Salem.
With help from the “big kids” from West Lutheran, the kindergartners had a fun morning playing parachute games and drawing full-sized pictures of themselves.

After joining all of the West Lutheran students for chapel led by Pastor Nietzel, the kindergartners enjoyed a snack of orange juice and a rice crispie treat. The day concluded with West seniors giving the kindergartners a tour of the school.
During the tour, the youngsters entered the classrooms and met the high school students and teachers. As they prepared for their return back to their school, each kindergartner received a West Lutheran t-shirt.
