"We are very excited about the new skate park," said Plymouth Recreation Supervisor Alyssa Krumholz. "It is a design or bid build park, designed by the experts at ACTION Sport Development out of California and constructed by W. Gohman Construction from St. Joseph here in Minnesota."
The new skate park is already seeing plenty of action and generating a great deal of interest from both local and not so local skaters, one individual checking out the new park came from as far away as Arizona, Krumholz said.
The city has plans to hold a grand opening for the new skate park next spring at the beginning of the outdoor skate season, but invites the public to enjoy and come see the park at its completion today.
