Northwest Suburban Conference Boys Hockey: Armstrong Falcons Move Forward

Coach Todd Weisjahn has his Falcons aiming for top five in the conference.

With their goalie and two top scorers returning, Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons coach Todd Weisjahn wants to see better things from his club this year.

"We are looking to improve our win total by 2-3 games," Weisjahn said. "We are also looking to be a top-five team in the NWSC."

The Falcons went 12-13-1 last season and bowed out in the Section 6AA quarterfinals to Benilde-Saint Margaret. To improve on that and finish fifth in the NWSC, the Falcons will to tangle with high-ranked Class AA teams in Maple Grove (No. 5), Blaine (No. 6), Elk River (No. 10) and Centennial (No. 17).
