PHOTOS: Annual Plymouth Fire Department Open House

Food, fun, and learning were all part of the Plymouth Fire Department's annual open house Oct. 15 at Fire Station No. 3.

It was a beautiful autumn day for the annual Plymouth Fire Department Open House. There was great turnout from the community at Fire Station No. 3 where different businesses and organizations gathered with booths on just about anything.

Center Point Energy had a booth about what you should do if you smell gas.

Qdoba was giving out free food from their local restaurant in Plymouth.

The Home Depot had a table where children could make their own toy cars and more.

Children were able to learn about how to crawl outside a window if there was a fire and many other fire safety tips.

Families were able to see different emergency vehicles and a helicopter and fire demonstrations.

Pyro, the Plymouth Fire Department's dalmatian, greeted people as well as his human counterpart.
