PHOTOS:Wayzata Cross Country Has Strong Showing at Griak Invite

Boys finish in fourth, with Josh Thorson taking second overall; girls finish in sixth.

The Wayzata boys and girls cross country teams competed at the University of Minnesota's 26th annual Roy Griak Invitational, the nation's largest annual cross country meet on Saturday.

Both teams competed in the gold division and had strong showings in a meet that included teams from outside of Minnesota, as the Trojans' boys squad finished fourth overall with 273 points.

Josh Thorson finished second overall with a time of 15:44. The girls top finisher was Anna French with a time of 19:25.
