Picnic Introduces Future Students to Armstrong High School
Plymouth school will have a picnic Aug. 23 for families of students at feeder schools in the district

Families of students at Plymouth Middle School and the elementary schools Neill, Noble, Sonnesyn, Robbinsdale Spanish Immersion and Zachary Lane can learn more about Robbinsdale Armstrong High School while getting their grub on next month.
A community-building picnic is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, on the back lawn of the high school in Plymouth. It is the chance for families from feeder schools in Robbinsdale School District 281 to meet Armstrong Principal David Dahl and learn about the school that was recently named among the nation’s top high schools for 2011 by the Washington Post.
“Last year was the first time we held this event and we loved it,” Dahl said. “We made a few changes to make it even better for our families.”
