Showing their strength, several Plymouth residents competed in the 2012 Minnesota State Powerlifting Championships last weekend. Plymouth resident Stephanie Leonard placed second in the women's unequipped category.   Bob Miller of Plymouth placed fourth in the master unequipped category and Plymouth resident Steve Born also competed in the master unequipped category. Paul Balyeat of Plymouth competed in the bench press. The event bought out <a href="http://www.thepress.org/results/2012results.html" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">65 strength athletes</a> from across Minnesota to compete, crossing several age categories and level of experience.
