Delays At County Road 101 And Hwy 55 This Weekend

Avoid Highway 55 at the intersection of County Road 101 on Saturday, Oct. 15 and Sunday, Oct. 16, as roadwork will cause delays and slow down traffic in both directions as lanes are brought down to one in each direction.

Woman Dies of Injuries Sustained in Monday Crash

Roxanne Scheer died Monday night of injuries she sustained in a car crash at the intersection of Highway 55 and County Road 101 in Medina. Scheer drove through the intersection against a red light after 8 a.m. Monday, broadsiding a Lexus sedan driven by Howard Buff of Medina who sustained non-life threatening injuries.

Wayzata West Middle School Teacher Wins Award

Eighth grade math teacher Seth Brown got the surprise of a lifetime when he was awarded the 2011 Milken Educator Award for Minnesota. With it he gets $25,000 and national recognition.

Cancelled: Last Day For Plymouth Farmer's Market

The last day of the 2011 Farmer's Market was Wednesday, but Mother Nature had other plans. The market day was cancelled and not rescheduled. This year's market brought in around more than 9,500 people throughout the season.

Plymouth Council Chooses Three Ward 2 Finalists

The Plymouth City Council narrowed down the pool of candidates for the Ward 2 council seat vacancy from seven to three at a special meeting Oct. 11. The council will interview the three finalists, Ned Carroll, James Kovach and Jeffry Wosje, at a special meeting Tuesday, Oct. 18, at City Hall.
