Prosperwell CEO Named TwinWest Entrepreneur of the Year

TwinWest Chamber of Commerce recognized Prosperwell Financial CEO Nicole Middendorf as this year’s entrepreneur of the year at Thursday’s Small Business Awards Luncheon.

According to TwinWest:

The TwinWest Entrepreneur of the Year award recognizes a member entrepreneur who has established and maintained a successful business with $100 million or less in annual revenue, and is five or more years old.

Middendorf graduated from St. Cloud State University and was a financial advisor and retirement planning specialist with Morgan Stanley in Wayzata before forming Prosperwell Financial, according to a biography on the Plymouth company’s website. She’s been honored by numerous other awards from groups like the Business Journal, National Association of Women Business Owners and Finance & Commerce.

“Nicole’s business is, in many ways, a great model for other entrepreneurs in our area. Prosperwell Financial has realized significant growth and the future looks very bright.  It’s businesses like Nicole’s that sustain our organization and our community here in the western Twin Cities area,” a news release quoted TwinWest President Brad Meier.

Middendorf is a Minnetonka native and now lives in Wayzata.
