Providence Academy Friday Football Game

Providence Academy hits the road for week two facing the St. Agnes Aggies.

Though Providence Academy is coming off a loss to St. Croix Lutheran, 52-6, the team will look to get in the win column this week.

This Friday at 7 p.m. Providence Academy Lions (0-1, 0-1 Tri-Metro West Conference) will be at St. Agnes Aggies (1-0, 1-0 Tri-East Metro Conference). The weather is expected to be 77 degrees and sunny. At the last meeting of these teams Providence won 52-16 last year at home.

For the Lions it's Running Back Ryan Dart. Look for Dart to burst through holes provided by his offensive line early and often. He does not want his team to start out the year 0-2.

For the Aggies its' Full Back Evan Morehead who will look to use his size and strength on any goal line opritunity the Aggies get. He is a bruiser.

Winning Scenarios

If the Lions win it won’t allow the Aggies to jump out to a huge lead in front of its home crowd. After losing last week 52-6 on the road, the Lions know they need to come out fast.

If the Aggies win it won’t allow the Lions to rush the ball. The Aggies need to force its underclassmen quarterback into uncomfortable situations.
