Twin Cities Orthopedics Will Open 3 New Facilities in January 2015
More growth lies ahead as Twin Cities Orthopedics opens a state-of-the-art sports medicine facility and new clinics with expanded services.

Golden Valley, MN - December 15, 2014 - www.tcomn.com - Twin Cities Orthopedics, the largest orthopedic group in Minnesota, is planning to open three new locations in January 2015, one of which is set to compete with leading sports medicine clinics in Minneapolis.
The new clinics in Maple Grove, Eden Prairie and Plymouth are a result of continued growth experienced by Twin Cities Orthopedics, as well as an increased demand for physical therapy, sports performance training and general wellness services.
“Our culture has become increasingly obsessed with competition and performance in youth sports in particular,” said Troy Simonson, CEO, Twin Cities Orthopedics. “We’re seeing more and more single sport athletes with over-use injuries and a need for customized training and preventive care and education.”
With the opening of these new facilities, Twin Cities Orthopedics is transitioning itself from being not just an orthopedic services provider, but to an overall sports performance and wellness center. Free yoga classes and boot camps will be offered to the public at the Maple Grove location. The state-of-the-art Eden Prairie facility will provide additional specialized training in the areas of golf, motion analysis, throwing, return to sport strength and conditioning, and nutrition services, as well as serving as the perfect location for run clubs and other sports teams to meet and work out.
“Our new facilities are so well equipped that we hope that the public will come to us as part of their workout regime,” said Chris Bailey, Director of Therapy Services, Twin Cities Orthopedics. “We’re a great alternative to a traditional health club, for example, plus we offer training plans customized to the individual.”
“We’re in a highly competitive industry,” said Simonson, who views competition as positive for the market. “Where we have the edge is in the customized and state-of-the-art care we’re able to offer the general public, no matter what their age or level of athleticism. At the end of the day, competition is good for the patient.”
