VIDEO: The Naughty Shanty on Medicine Lake
Inspired to be a little naughty, six friends created an oasis of intrigue for the 2012 Art Shanty Projects on Medicine Lake in Plymouth.

If you're a renegade or simply someone who thinks outside the box you may be intrigued by a certain shanty on the ice of Medicine Lake in Plymouth.
From afar the Naughty Shanty looks almost like an old boxcar, but close up you can see small windows that show drawings of naughty scenes.
Cleverly done, the scenes aren't risque or dirty, just depicting naughty ventures like smoking in a school bathroom or parking next to a fire hydrant. These things are against the rules and are there to make you think about the what makes these rules and why we have them in the first place.

Created by Sarah Honeywell, Aneesa Adams, Marieka Heinlen, Angela Maki-Jones and Mo Honeywell, the Naughty Shanty was inspired by parenthood.
"I think a lot of the inspiration comes from having to make rules for our own children and having that be a challenge for people who are a renegade at heart," said Sarah Honeywell.
