West Lutheran H.S. Has Successful Blood Drive

The blood donations at the West Lutheran fall blood drive exceed the goal.

On November 7, 2012, West Lutheran High School students, faculty, staff and parents helped preserve that gift of life by participating in the Fall Blood Drive sponosored by the West Lutheran Student Council in the WLHS gymnasium.  The day began with the Student Council hosting a donor's breakfast at 7:30 which included bagels and juice. With the higher than expected number of donors, 49 units (pints) of blood were donated to Memorial Blood Centers of Minneapolis exceeding the 37 unit goal.

Since the first Blood Drive at West in March of 2007, the students, faculty, staff and parents of West have given 363 pints of life-saving blood. Thanks to the students, faculty, staff and parents who donated and helped preserve precious gift of life in others.
