West Lutheran H.S. Hosts Kindergarten Day

West Lutheran High School welcomed area grade school to their Kindergarten Day on March 6.

West Lutheran High School was proud to welcome over 70 kindergarteners to the 2015 West Lutheran Kindergarten Visit on March 6. These future Warriors represented the kindergarten classes from area Lutheran grade schools including Holy Trinity, King of Grace, Mt. Olive, Pilgrim and Salem. With help from the “big kids” from West, the kindergarteners had a fun day playing parachute games and drawing full-sized pictures of themselves.

The kindergarteners joined all of the West Lutheran students for chapel and listened to Pastor Monday message - “What do you want to be when you grow up?” The kindergartners then enjoyed juice and a snack. The day concluded with West students giving the kindergartners a tour of the school. During the tour, the youngsters entered the classrooms and met the high school students and teachers.

As they prepared for their return back to their school, each kindergartner received a West Lutheran t-shirt and took a photo under the West commons sign.
