• City of Duluth, Animal Allies leadership release statements about possible partnership (fox21online.com) — Proctor pet owners may be indirectly affected as Duluth considers shifting animal care from its aging city shelter to Animal Allies, the nonprofit that already serves Proctor through contract. City and Animal Allies leaders say a new partnership could improve animal care and free Duluth police to focus more on enforcement, with a long-term agreement expected to be finalized in coming weeks.
