Airport Noise Updates: Two Public Meetings in July

MSP Noise Oversight Committee (NOC) Meeting
Event Date: Wednesday, July 17, 2013 - 1:30 p.m.

Event Description:  The Metropolitian Airports Commission (MAC) established the NOC to bring industry and community representatives together to address aircraft noise issues at MSP and to bring policy recommendations to the Metropolitan Airports Commission. Persons wishing to speak during the Public Comment Period at the NOC meeting must contact their NOC representative prior to the meeting. Use the NOC Public Input Form to contact your representative. The Public Comment Period of a Committee meeting is for items not on the meeting agenda.

For the upcoming NOC meeting (agenda) a review of 30L and 30R Westbound Departure Study is planned.  The study was generated for the City of Edina but Richfield residents will find the detailed analysis very informative.

MSP Noise Public Input Meeting 
Event Date: Tuesday, July 23, 2013 - 7:00pm  

Event Description: The MAC Noise Program Office sponsors quarterly Public Input Meetings for residents to receive updates on the MSP Noise Oversight Committee (NOC) and its activities, to be briefed on MSP operational levels and procedures and to have an opportunity to provide comments and voice concerns about aircraft noise issues. During Public Input Meetings, attendees are welcome to make comments or ask questions on the record. Attendees doing so will receive written responses to their comments or questions. In order to facilitate the meeting process, we encourage anyone planning to attend a Public Input Meeting to use the Public Input Meeting Form to submit their comments or questions in advance of the meeting.
