A 9,000-Square-Foot Sneaker Store Is Coming To Mall Of America, With An Ant Edwards Twist

The store, opening this October on Level 2 East, is the company's first full-price concept location in Minnesota.

BLOOMINGTON, MN — Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star Anthony Edwards is getting his own shop inside a brand-new Adidas store at Mall of America, part of a concept location opening this October that marks the brand's first full-price store in Minnesota.

The roughly 9,161-square-foot store will sit on Level 2 East and follow the newest format in Adidas' concept store lineup, according to a Mall of America announcement Monday. The design pairs performance and lifestyle product with what the company calls an elevated, personalized shopping experience.

Inside, shoppers will find Adidas Originals and Badge of Sport collections along with products tailored to the Minnesota market.

The centerpiece is an expanded Made For You setup, where customers can customize items through in-store service and product options.

The store is built around four zones: footwear, Made For You, City Shop, and a storefront with digital touchpoints woven in, meant to guide shoppers from browsing to personalizing to buying.

The Edwards shop is the local touch the mall officials are leaning into, tying the store to the Timberwolves star and the area's basketball fan base.

"We're thrilled to welcome Adidas to Mall of America, marking another first-to-market brand" for shoppers, said Carrie Charleston, the mall's vice president and head of leasing, in a statement.
