Best Buy Replaces Old Logo, Unveils New Marketing Strategy

The Richfield-based company changed its logo after nearly 30 years.

RICHFIELD, MN — For the first time in nearly three decades, Richfield-based Best Buy has updated its logo. "It’s now more modern and easier to read, especially in today’s digital world," the company announced Wednesday.

In the new logo, "Best Buy" still appears in bold, black font, but now resides outside of the company's signature yellow tag. "The tag serves as graphic punctuation and a visual connection to our history."

The redesign is part of the company's new "Let’s talk about what’s possible" marketing strategy that launches May 9.
