Boy Thrown From 3rd Floor Of Mall Of America Returns Home
The boy, whose family lives in Woodbury, survived the fall despite receiving life-threatening injuries as a result.

TWIN CITIES, MN — The boy who survived being thrown off of the third floor at the Mall of America has returned home after spending nearly five months in the hospital. Landen was thrown 40 feet on April 12 by a man who later admitted in court he was trying to kill him.
The boy, whose family lives in Woodbury, survived the fall despite receiving life-threatening injuries as a result. However, he continues to recover and has undergone multiple surgeries. He has also suffered complications from his injuries.
"We are pleased to share that our son completed his inpatient rehabilitation and is now home," reads the boy's GoFundMe page, which has raised more than $1 million.

"We are so thankful, and we rejoice in the Lord’s blessings to our family. We continue to ask that His healing powers guide us and our son’s care team as we enter the next phase of recovery, which includes continued outpatient rehabilitation for multiple injuries and adjusting to life back at home and school."
The man accused of throwing Landen pleaded guilty back in May. Emmanuel Aranda, 24, of Minneapolis was charged with attempted premeditated first-degree murder.
