Can You Hear Me NOW? Richfield Puts Up a New Siren

The siren mounted on a pole at 68th and Morgan has been sounding for 50 years, and now it can rest after a job well done. 

The City of Richfield recently replaced that siren with a new model that can be heard from a greater distance. There are seven sirens in Richfield that have overlapping coverage areas. Three sirens have been replaced in the past 14 year, according to the city's web page.
