The public is invited to celebrate the opening of the Nokomis-Minnesota River Regional Trail on Saturday, Oct. 1, 10:30 a.m. at Taft Park Trail Kiosk (1800 E 63rd St). The trail travels from Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis through Richfield and into Bloomington. Celebrate the completion of the Nokomis-Minnesota River Regional Trail by riding to the trail bridge over I-494 at 12th Avenue for the official ribbon cutting.The event is jointly hosted by the cities of Richfield and Bloomington and the Three Rivers Park District, according to a news release.Image via City of Richfield
