DHCC's Dr. Woell Rhode and the Union Gospel Mission
The Union Gospel Mission strives to provide life-changing care for those in need.

The Union Gospel Mission strives to provide life-changing care for those in need. Their wide range of programs offer assistance and guidance to struggling individuals. Behind all these programs are people who dedicate their time to try and improve the state of the community. One of these people is Dr. Elizabeth Woell Rhode of Richfield's Dental Health Care Center.
Dr. Woell Rhode first volunteered with the Union Gospel Mission in 2003 at the Naomi Family Residence. The Naomi Family Residence provides shelter to women and children escaping abuse, battling with addiction, and struggling with homelessness and poverty.
After entering dental school in 2006, she began working with the dental clinic. The clinic provides free, professional care to those without the means to pay. In 2015 alone, the clinic provided 14,651 dental procedures. Dr. Woell Rhode is one of many local dentists who dedicate their time and care once a month to perform these life-altering practices.
