BLOOMINGTON, MN — Doctors say the 5-year-old boy who was thrown from the third floor at the Mall of America is undergoing a miraculous recovery. On April 12, Landen was attacked and fell approximately 39 feet on the first floor of the mall.

He suffered life-threatening injuries and remains hospitalized. However, after a five-hour MRI, doctors are calling the boy's recovery "truly a miracle," according to Mac Hammond, the pastor at the family's church.

Emmanuel Aranda, 24, of Minneapolis, has been charged with attempted premeditated first-degree murder in the attack.
