Heads Up: Detour At MSP Airport This Weekend
If you're headed to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul airport this weekend, you should be aware of some construction.
TWIN CITIES, MN — If you're headed to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul airport this weekend, you should be aware of some construction. In order to accommodate work on the hotel skyway, each night, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, April 28 through Sunday, April 30, the inbound roadway at Terminal 1-Lindbergh will be shutdown and detours put in place.
Off Highway 5, all Terminal 1 motorists (including commercial and public transit vehicles) will be directed to take the Post Road exit.
Look for the road signs along the way, which will direct you to your ultimate destination – parking, rental car return, pick up or drop off. Motorists can expect a 5 to 10-minute delay getting to Terminal 1 during these times – particularly during the early morning hours of 3:00 - 5:00 a.m. when early flights are scheduled, according to a news release.
