Memorial Day Ceremony 5/30 2 pm @ Veteran's Park
The Honoring All Veteran's Memorial is proud to again sponsor the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at Veteran's Park at 2 pm
This year's Memorial Day ceremony will be dedicating a new plaque to honor Civil War Veteran Pvt. John O. Dolson and the 2nd US Sharpshooters Co. 2A.
Guest speakers are Stephen Osman, Retired Sr. Historian, MN Historical Society & Bruce Miller, Historian, Oakwood Cemetery (Raleigh, NC)
We are please to again have the 34th Infantry Division's "Red Bull" Concert Band performing.
There are 40 new veteran names that have been added to the memorial which will be unveiled. Putting the total number of names on the memorial at 940.
As always, remember to bring your lawn chair with you to enjoy the ceremony. Should their be rain, the ceremony will be held under the pavilion in the park.
