Moped Driver Crashes In Richfield, Dies At Home 2 Weeks Later

A Twin Cities moped driver died two weeks after colliding with another vehicle in Richfield this month.

RICHFIELD, MN — A Twin Cities moped driver died two weeks after colliding with another vehicle in Richfield this month. On Aug. 2 at 1:46 p.m., Scott Dean Einbinder, 61, of Minneapolis was on a moped at the intersection of 64th Street E. and Nicollet Avenue S. in Richfield when he was struck.

Einbinder died at his home of respiratory complications from multiple blunt force injuries, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner. The examiner and the Richfield Police Department are investigating the crash.
