New MOA Cinema Features Leather Recliners, And Really Cheap Seats
The new cinema at the Mall of America will feature 13 screens, gourmet dining, drinks and oversized luxurious recliners.
BLOOMINGTON, MN — Movie theatre chain CMX Cinemas announced Wednesday the grand opening of its new location at the Mall of America will be held Friday, May 4. The cinema will replace "Theatres at Mall of America," which abruptly closed in December 2016.
The new cinema boasts a fine dining and cocktail experience, including:
- An in-house pizza station
- A burger and shakes destination
- A delicatessen offering cheese and charcuterie platters, market-fresh salads, and gourmet deli sandwiches
- A "popcorn lab"
- A bar with specialty cocktails, wine and spirits
The 64,000-square foot, 13 screen theatre will feature three auditoriums. All theatres will feature reserved seating in oversized leather recliners with a swivel table.
