Pickeball At Washington Park
The sport, a mix of badminton, tennis and whiffle ball, is for people aged five to 105.

RICHFIELD, MN -- Richfield has new pickleball courts. Richfield did not invent pickleball, according to a post on the city's Facebook page, "but it definitely made it better."
"Pickeball is a crazy, fun sport that is the amalgamation of tennis, badminton and ping pong," according to the post. The rules are similar to those of badminton, but players use shorter sticks to smack a ball similar to a whiffle ball.
The new courts, at Washington Park at 7600 17th Ave., will be dedicated on Wednesday, June 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
