Postal Truck Catches Fire In Wayzata
The postal truck caught fire on Highway 12 near County Road 15 Monday afternoon.
WAYZATA, MN — If you're missing mail, a highway blaze in the west metro may be the reason the why. A postal truck caught on fire on Highway 12 near County Road 15 in Wayzata Monday afternoon. A trooper arrived and tried to put it out with a fire extinguisher. However, the fire quickly engulfed the truck.
The blaze was fully extinguished by 5 p.m. The Minnesota State Patrol told Patch the mail carrier was not injured.
