Richfield Police to Host Self-Defense Class for Women
The class will teach women how to handle a variety of potentially dangerous situations.
The Richfield police are hosting a self-defense class for women.
The class will take place 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at Richfield High School-Gym 6 (7001 Harriet Ave. S, Richfield.)
The class will give women the skills to use in sticky situations.

Through lecture, discussion, skill demonstrations and practice, you will leave more confident in how to handle yourself in a variety of potentially dangerous situations, according to a news release.
Police encourage residents to invite their mothers, daughters, friends, and aunts to register.

The class will cover physical resistance skills which will be practiced on instructors in padded suits. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes.
