Hennepin County Sheriff Rich Stanek is the scheduled speaker at Richfield Rotary on Thursday, May 8. The presentation will include a video produced by the US Department of Homeland Security titled, “Run, Hide, Fight: Surviving an Active Shooter Event”. The video discusses a workplace shooting situation, the law enforcement response, and lifesaving steps individuals can take if they ever find themselves in such a situation. Over the past several months, the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office has presented this video and public safety message to multiple businesses (large & small) and multiple organizations within Hennepin County, in an effort to reach out to businesses and organizations in the wider community.
The cost is $10 for breakfast. Visitors are welcome, and we encourage you to consider membership as well!
