Arctic Adventures (K-2nd Grade)
Tue-Thu, Dec 27-29, 9:00-11:30 am, $40
Explore the winter world of snowshoes, animals, and outdoor games. Discover how people of the arctic survive in extreme cold. Warm up inside with stories and crafts. Please come dressed in warm winter clothes as we will be outside playing games in the snow, building a quinzhee (if conditions permit) and hiking on snowshoes.

Family Movie Fun (Adults w/kids of all ages)
Tue, Dec 27, 2:00-3:45 PM, $5/person
Bring your favorite blanket or sleeping bag and lay back to enjoy one of the Naturalist’s favorite nature-inspired children’s movies. Popcorn and drinks will be served. Children should be supervised by adults.

Outdoor Winter Survival (3rd-6thGrade)
Tue-Thu, Dec 27-29, 9:00-11:30 am, $40
Survive the Wood Lake Challenge of building your own winter shelter, creating a fire, and learning to cook over it! Discover how to use a map and compass while on a snowshoe hike and how to plan your very own winter outdoor adventures! Please come dressed in warm snow clothes.

Winter Photography (3rd-6th Grade)
Wed, Dec 28, 1:00-4:00 pm, $20
Celebrate the wonderful winter season by learning tips and tricks to taking beautiful winter photos. Enjoy a winter photography scavenger hunt hike on snowshoes and warm-up to winter treats of s’mores and cocoa! (digital cameras will be available for use if needed).
