SilverCrest chefs and cuisine just took home top prize at the 2013 Taste of Lakeville competition. Would you believe, SilverCrest beat out Porterhouse and Brackett’s Crossing Country Club, both award winning dining spots in the Twin Cities? Judges at The Taste of Lakeville voted on taste and presentation for dishes submitted. More than 2,000 local folks also sampled the 3500 savory and sweet bites from SilverCrest’s menu creations which included:
• Savory Waffles: homemade batter with cheddar cheese and scallions, topped with tenderloin, caramelized onions, blue cheese mousse and blue cheese crumbles.
• Chocolate Mousse Profiterole: a profiterole filled with chocolate mousse, lightly brushed with caramel and rolled in thinly slices almonds.
• Carmel Apple Tart: a delicious tart with cinnamon apples and a dynamite crust.
