Ski/Snowboard Instructors Needed for Individuals with Disabilities

Volunteers are needed to teach individuals with developmental disabilities how to ski or snowboard at Hyland Hills.

Volunteers are needed to teach individuals with developmental disabilities how to ski or snowboard at Hyland Hills. The program is held on Thursday evenings in January and February. Training is provided, according to a news release.

A volunteer application and background check is required. Volunteers must be at least 16-years-old.

Key Dates

  • Dry-Land Training: Thursday, Jan. 5, 6:30-8:00 pm, Community Center (1st and 2nd year volunteers only)
  • On-the-Hill Training: Sunday, January 8, 8:30 am-3:30 pm, Hyland Hills (all volunteers must attend)
  • Program Dates: Thursdays, Jan. 12-Feb. 16, 6:30-8:45 pm, Hyland Hills
  • Make-Up Date: Thursday, Feb. 23
