Suspect Arrested in Richfield Stabbing

A suspect has been arrested after a woman was stabbed multiple times in Richfield last week.

The suspect in an incident that resulted in a woman being stabbed multiple times in Richfield has been arrested, according to police. The suspect initially fled the scene and police were not able to pursue.

On Nov. 15 at 10:36 p.m., Richfield police officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of West 76th Street on a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located a female victim who sustained numerous stab wounds.

Officers from Edina and Bloomington assisted in the search for the suspect. Richfield and Bloomington K-9 were involved in the search. Officers were initially unable to locate the suspect. Hennepin County Crime lab processed the scene.

The victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Facility. The extent of her injuries are unknown.

The incident is currently under investigation. Richfield police believe the stabbing was an isolated incident.
