Father Can Leave Prison For Funeral Of Son Killed In Richfield

"Jahmari leaves a host of loved ones mourning his untimely passing so your prayers are needed as well," the fundraiser's description reads.
Alfredo R. Solis, 19, and Fernando Valdez-Alvarez, 18, each face three counts of second-degree murder. Bail was set at $1 million for both.
The deadly shooting, which involved five South Education Center students, "was not random," the Richfield Police Department said.
In December, Cortez A. Rice, 32, was charged in Hennepin County with tampering with a judicial officer. He remains in custody.
Richfield's police chief said Tuesday's shooting was an “isolated incident, and no lingering threats exist to our community."
Officers responded to Richfield Middle School on Tuesday with guns drawn after reports of a shooting at the nearby South Education Center.
A 15-year-old student was fatally shot and two others were wounded Tuesday outside South Education Center​ in Richfield.
The Richfield Police Department said two suspects were arrested Tuesday night in Minneapolis, and a gun was recovered.
