Wads Of Cash Found In Floorboards Of Bloomington Home
A contractor estimates he found around $30,000 during a renovation.

BLOOMINGTON, MN — A contractor is being praised after turning in approximately $30,000 he found in the floorboards of a Bloomington home. Andy Rasmussen of Accessible Homes found the cash while pulling floorboards during a renovation.
Along with his wife Carissa, Rasmussen restores houses for people with disabilities. He was working on a home for Bethesda, a nonprofit, when he made the discovery.
"When we opened up the floor there’s a heat duct that was run under the floor," Rasmussen told FOX 9.

"And so someone previously must have gone into the utility room and thrown the money up on top of that duct. Pretty crazy."
