Woman Assaulted At Richfield Home Monday: Police
Richfield police said the victim suffered a laceration to her neck "consistent with being slashed."

RICHFIELD, MN — Two people were hospitalized following an assault at a Richfield home Monday, police said. Officers were dispatched to the 7300 block of Harriet Avenue South on a "suspicious medical call" just after 5:40 a.m.
Officers there found a woman who suffered a laceration to her neck "consistent with being slashed." She was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.
Police said a man involved was also hospitalized "for an unknown medical condition. "

"This incident appears to be an isolated incident and there is no public safety concern," police said in a news release. The Richfield Police Department is investigating.
