The course aims to teach women how to handle themselves in a variety of potentially dangerous situations.

On Tuesday, Richfield police hosted a self-defense class for women. The class included a lecture and lots of hands-on work, including practice on jabs, strikes and kicks.

It was held at Richfield High School.
