Nearby in Fillmore County a semi-truck driver was injured in a crash and transported to St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The accident occurred Wednesday afternoon when Brian John Justin attempted to make a left onto eastbound 120th Street from Highway 63 when his truck overturned and went into a ditch. It was noted after the crash that there was no alcohol involved in the incident and that the driver did have his seatbelt on during the incident. (KROC-AM)
Earlier this week right outside of Rochester an armored truck was pulled over on the shoulder of the highway due to an apparent money spill. On Thursday morning the truck was traveling eastbound on Highway 14 between Rochester and Byron when it was reported that money had fallen out of the truck while traveling. The truck was quickly surrounded by squad cars and an emergency pick-up truck, eastbound traffic was reduced to one lane as the incident was being handled. (KDHL Radio)
