• Rochester Woman Injured in Crash Near Highway 52, I-90 (krocnews.com) — A Rochester woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash on southbound Highway 52 near the I-90 interchange and was taken to St. Marys Hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance. State Patrol reports both drivers and a passenger, all from Rochester, were wearing seat belts and that alcohol was not a factor in the collision.

Rochester fans saw standout performances from Caledonia's Bodie Knutson and quarterback Grant King, while Lourdes quarterback Chase Carroll connected for two long touchdown passes in a game coaches say highlighted areas for improvement.
   

• Rochester Schools Named in Request for Federal Investigation (rochesternow.net) — Rochester Public Schools have been named in a request for a federal civil-rights investigation into Minnesota districts' policies on gender identity, sports participation, and restroom and locker-room access. A conservative legal group argues these policies violate Title IX and parental rights, while Rochester officials say they've just received the complaint and are reviewing the information before responding.
