Was It a Possible Abduction Attempt? Roseville Police Not Sure
Authorities said they have been unable to contact the 9-year-old student's parents to find out more.

It took four days for a 9-year-old Brimhall Elementary student who was grabbed by an adult acquaintance on school grounds to report the incident to school officials.
Brimhall officials called the Roseville Police Department on Sept. 10.
The student escaped the grasp of the female acquaintance and ran away, police said. The incident may have occurred on Brimhallβs playground.
The incident was originally reported by Roseville police as a kidnapping. But in an interview Tuesday (Sept. 18) afternoon, Lt. Lorne Rosand said he was unsure whether or not it was an abduction attempt.
Rosand said police continue to investigate the matter but have been unable to reach the studentβs parents to confirm or deny whether the female acquaintance acted inappropriately.
