UPDATED: After Investigation, Roseville High Activities Director Accepts Teaching Post
Scott Allen stepped down from his position as Roseville High activities director, the district announced.

Updated, 4:30 p.m., July 11: After Roseville Area Schools completed its investigation into complaints made against Roseville High activities director Scott Allen, the district chose not to take any disciplinary action, said Karen Schaub, the district's spokeswoman.
Schaub said the Minnesota Data Practices act prevented her from disclosing any additional information, including whether Allen received pay during the mandatory leave he took throughout the investigation.
"We’re trying to be as honest and open as we can, but we really do have a lot of data practices issues that we have to be careful about," she said, adding in a follow-up email that "we take our responsibility to investigate complaints very seriously—please be assured that we did so in this case."

Schaub confirmed that there have been "issues going on for awhile in regards to [Allen's] health."

Scott Allen has stepped down from his post as Roseville Area High School activities director and accepted an assignment as a full-time teacher at Roseville Middle School, the school district announced today.
Allen has been on leave since early May, while the school district . The complaints were believed to be related to the allegations of bullying that caused .
But the district is saying that Allen’s demotion is “a voluntary transfer due to the stress and time commitments of his current assignment.”
“I have enjoyed my time as an administrator in District 623 for the past ten
years,” Allen wrote in a June 27 letter requesting the change of assignment. “I believed it would be best for my health to make a change.”
The change in position will go into effect on August 27.
The school district is currently accepting applications for Allen’s job of District 623 activities director and associate principal.
