TEXTEDGE, a new software company based in Minnesota is now serving clients. Through its website, TextEdge empowers businesses to send deals that make their slow times busier, while offering customers the chance to get great deals, in real-time, based on their personalized settings. Rob and Michelle Williamson, the Founders of TextEdge, reside in Columbus, Minnesota, and are excited by the response “Seeing the benefit the tool provides to both local businesses and consumer in our communities is truly rewarding, says Michelle.” The TextEdge application allows businesses to choose when a deal is sent, how many people it is sent to, the discount amount, and the duration of the deal to drive in customer counts. When a consumer signs up they customize their account by choosing which businesses they want deals from, when they want them, and how often they would like to get them. Only when both the business and consumers deal preferences match is an offer sent, which means both sides get what they want on their terms. “The technology behind the application that allows for customization and making the match, really makes our offering unique”, says Rob. The result is businesses reach receptive customers and customers are not inundated with offers they don’t want, everybody wins! “ TextEdge also offers GoodCause to non-profits to request help on the same matched principle as the deals. The beta version of TextEdge is currently rolling out in several key markets in Minnesota, Michigan and Massachusetts.Consumers can sign up for free on the TextEdge website: www.textedge.com. Businesses can also learn more about the TextEdge application at the same website.
