Rocklin’s Wild Vines & Brew To Celebrate Grand Opening- Establishment Features Local Sierra Foothills Wine and Craft Beers

ROCKLIN – Wild Vines & Brew, a new local business serving local wines, craft beers and small plate appetizers, will celebrate its grand opening from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 7. The public is invited to attend.

Local business leaders and elected officials are expected to mark the opening of the establishment, founded by longtime community member Maria Trunzo.

“When I considered what venture I wanted to take on, the idea of an establishment offering local wines and crafted beer seemed a perfect fit,” Maria said. “We have great local products and I wanted to be a part of showcasing them.”

Wild Vines & Brew is located at 6508 Lonetree Boulevard near RC Willey. In addition to the local wines and craft beers, Wild Vines & Brew offers small plate appetizers such as cheese plates and shrimp cocktails. Maria said she plans to expand food options as the business grows.

Maria, a longtime member of the Rocklin Area Chamber of Commerce and active community member, has owned two other businesses – most recently operating an advertising promotional company.

“I love Rocklin and the South Placer community,” Maria said. “The support I’ve received in the past has been tremendous and we are off to a great start now with Wild Vines & Brew. I wanted to create a place where both the wine drinkers and the beer drinkers would enjoy the flavors of Placer County. Wild Vines and Brew is the perfect place for our community to enjoy local drinks together in a fun, relaxing yet sociable atmosphere.”

Maria’s family has long been active in Rocklin – her mother; Marilyn Stern, owned an insurance agency in town where Maria worked for many years. .

Local vintners are welcoming the opportunity to work with Wild Vines.

Wild Vines & Brew is open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Local music is featured every Friday evening, beginning at 6 p.m.
