Mayr graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in communication studies and architecture. Upon graduation, Mayr completed development internships at Minnesota Youth Symphonies and St. David’s Center for Child and Family Development. He is excited to bring these experiences along with his relationship-building skills and passion for higher education to College Possible.

“I hope to aid in College Possible’s growth by helping the development team achieve their high-standing goals,” said Mayr. “The organization’s mission and connection to higher education are what initially attracted me to College Possible.”

In his new position Mayr will oversee gift processing, assist in building strategic proposals for the organization, and support correspondence, tracking and internal reports.
“Thanks to the hard work of our development team, College Possible Twin Cities has been able to expand from serving 35 students in 2001 to 8,600 students this year,” said College Possible Twin Cities Executive Director Sara Dziuk. “We hope to reach more students in the future, and with Erik’s help we’re on the right track.”
