A recent Business Pulse question in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul Business Journal asked about summer vacation plans this year. More than 500 people responded to the survey saying:
We’re vacationing in Minnesota only: 28%
We’re vacationing out of state: 36%

Do you fit into one of those categories as well? I know that my husband Bill and I plan to take mini vacations around the state this year, golfing at courses we have not played before as well as trying out all the wonderful state bike trails. I received a brand new Trek bike for my birthday last year and since I would prefer to bike with Bill, he felt obligated to buy one as well!
Even though the economy seems to be slowly recovering there are lots of people are still unemployed, money is tight and gas prices are high. Your plans for a summer vacation may now mean driving and sticking a bit closer to home. So here’s a tip for your vacation planning.
