Roseville Blog of The Week: Enjoy Creation

We are so busy, don't take enough time to see the beauty not just of plants & animals but of people, people created in God's image. New series coming.

We live in a beautiful world. Sure there is lots to complain about but have we stopped lately to go for a walk, sit and do some people watching, or get out on lake? We live in a beautiful world and here in Roseville, an especially beautiful part of the country!

As you look at the beauty and you look at other people what do we learn about God?

As a pastor, I've spent considerable time studying God, His character and His heart. In fact beginning on June 10 we will start a new series at Grace Church Roseville called "The Image". We will take 3 Sundays and discuss what it means for humankind to be made in God's image (according to what the Bible says). It's critical that we understand who we were designed to be otherwise we can find ourselves living in a way that is outside of what God made us to be. But if we could discover God's intention and begin to move towards it -- we would experience a joy and a synergy to our lives that few taste.

But we've got a few weeks until June 10th so here's my challenge in the meantime. Go for a walk...look around and see just how beautiful a world God has made. Pause long enough to hear the sounds, take in the smell of the fresh air and allow your eyes to behold creation. We are so busy as a generation/ culture and if we don't intentionally stop and take it in -- we miss it, all of it.

Then join us on June 10th at 9 a.m. or 10:45a.m. at on the corner of County Road B2 and Hamline Avenue (right down the street from Rosedale Mall, Roseville Library and right next store to Roseville High School). You'll be glad you did.
