Featured Blog of the Week: Is Roseville a "Fun" Town?

Do you think Roseville Minnesota ranks as one of the most FUN towns in America? If so we could use your vote!

The Roseville Visitors Association has submitted the City of Roseville in the 2012 Rand McNally and USA TODAY contest to find the Best Small Towns in America!  Rand McNally and USA TODAY have teamed up for the second year in a row to create a community of road travelers reviewing the best stops on America’s highways and byways, from small towns to the points of interest in and between them–the Best of the Road.

All across the United States Convention and Visitors Bureaus (CVBs) and chambers have already nominated nearly 300 towns to compete for a spot on the route exploring the 30 finalists in five categories, and voting continues until May 15.

They will be awarding towns and cities the designations of:  Most Beautiful, Most Patriotic, Friendliest, Most Fun, and Best Small Town for Food.

Last year the city of Burnsville, Minnesota was one of the five finalists for Best Small Town for food!

We would like you to go online to the Rand McNally Best of the Road  website, choose the City of Roseville and write a comment on why you feel Roseville should be included in their search for best of the best. Do you think our city is beautiful, patriotic, friendly, fun or offers great tasting food?

In addition to your opinion if you have any great photos of a favorite local spot you would highly recommend to other travelers, share that with them too. The whole purpose of the contest is to offer town and point of interest profiles that can provide inspiration for RVers, motorcyclists, and families on the road whether for long trips or weekend getaways—and traveler photos and reviews enhance these pages with real experiences.

Rand McNally and USA TOODAY will pick a variety of towns to send ‘road rally teams’ to visit and choose winners based on their experiences and reviews of the town. Roseville could be next so  Vote Roseville today - click on Most Fun!
